Biography
Nicole Emanuele joined the Firm in 2022 as an Associate Attorney representing clients in both commercial and healthcare litigation. Her matters primarily include prosecuting and defending breach of contract claims; representing medical professionals in State disciplinary (OPMC and OPD) investigations and proceedings; engaging in the Dispute Resolution process with the National Practitioner Data Bank regarding Reports made on behalf of physicians; medical staff/clinical privileging disputes and intra-hospital hearings; as well as resident physician and fellow grievance matters.
Ms. Emanuele graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2018 with a political science major and sociology minor, after having interned for a year at the Cortland County District Attorney’s Office. Following graduation from SUNY Cortland, Ms. Emanuele attended the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University where she held a variety of internships including, notably, a judicial internship with the Honorable Charles Troia of Richmond County Supreme Court, as well as internships with matrimonial and personal injury law firms. The judicial internship with Hon. Troia propelled Ms. Emanuele’s interest in personal injury and led to her employment with a New York City-based law firm where she worked as an Associate Attorney in the medical malpractice department. Ms. Emanuele’s experience in medical malpractice serves as a beneficial instrument in the healthcare ligation matters she handles today at Weiss Zarett.
Ms. Emanuele was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in February 2022 and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court of the Eastern District of New York as well as the Southern District of New York.
Ms. Emanuele is eager to continue expanding her legal knowledge and experience, all while zealously advocating for her clients to help them achieve their legal goals.
