Jessica M. Seidman joined the Firm in 2017. She has extensive experience assisting clients in commercial litigation, real property litigation, and real estate and commercial transactions. Ms. Seidman has represented a broad array of clients across New York and New Jersey and has substantial experience in all forms of transactional work, including the formation of entities and preparation and negotiation of agreements between the participants in the entities, including shareholders’ agreements, operating agreements, partnership agreements and joint ventures. Ms. Seidman has represented sellers and purchasers in all forms of business and real estate transactions and has engaged in representing parties in matters involving disputes among partners, shareholders and members of commercial enterprises.

Mr. Brofman, who joined the Firm in 2004, leads the Firm’s creditor rights and workout practice and is a member of the commercial litigation practice. He is a graduate of SUNY at Binghamton (B.A. 1973) and a graduate of Fordham Law School (J.D. 1978). Mr. Brofman possesses over 47 years of experience, including the representation of physicians and other healthcare professionals as litigants in bankruptcy and commercial cases, as well as representing clients in debt restructuring and workouts, asset based financing, secured transactions and commercial real estate transactions.

Michael J. Spithogiannis joined Weiss Zarett in 2017. He is an accomplished litigator with over forty years of experience representing clients in complex commercial and real-estate litigation. Before joining Weiss Zarett, he led his own law practice for many years, concentrating on all facets of litigation. Clients include major real-estate owners, developers and investors, title-insurance underwriters, banks and lending institutions, and closely-held business entities. His practice addresses matters involving complex title claims, large tracts of land, intricate mortgage foreclosures, and highly-contested corporate and contract disputes. Mr. Spithogiannis earned a bachelor of arts degree from Columbia University in 1981, where he majored in history and political science.
