The practice came to us with a Medicare Pre Payment review implemented by Anthem following a post payment audit. We worked with the practice and engaged a certified coder to review and address any potential deficiencies in the notes of the practice’s more than 30 mental health professionals. We successfully were able to have the post payment findings overturned on appeal and the pre-payment review removed quickly after implementing corrective action.
