Mr. Weiss, a founding member of the Firm, attended Cornell University and earned a B.S. in Operations Research/Industrial Engineering in 1974. He also attended Adelphi University where he earned an M.B.A. in Finance in 1978. Mr. Weiss graduated from St. John’s University School of Law (J.D.) in 1982. For more than 30 years, Mr. Weiss has represented physicians and other healthcare providers in matters concerning their business relationships, including issues related to their practices and hospital affiliations. Mr. Weiss is actively involved with fraud and abuse and anti-referral legislation as it impacts partnership and shareholder agreements, equipment contracts, and real estate transactions. He is also involved with regulatory compliance, practice mergers and acquisitions, business structuring and tax matters. Mr. Weiss has been in the 2013, 2014 and 2015 Super Lawyers® New York Metro Edition.
