Litigation Attorney

Salary

  • $100k-$160k

The ideal candidate will be capable of excelling in a high-quality legal environment, and motivated to become a long-term member of a close-knit legal team representing clients in litigation and arbitration. A book a business is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Research, preparation of pleadings, memoranda of law, motions, reviewing and preparing discovery requests, preparation for and appearance at court, e-discovery, arbitration/mediation and administrative tribunal conferences and hearings, generally assisting senior attorneys in all phases of litigated matters, including extensive interaction with opposing counsel and expert witnesses
  • Developing skills to effectively represent clients in depositions
  • Working collaboratively with clients throughout the course of representation, including extensive client contact
  • Providing superior client service

Education And Experience

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school is required
  • At least 2-6 years of relevant experience is required (admitted or pending admission with some medical malpractice or other health-care related experience preferred)
